I am directed by Mr. Secretary MacDonald to

acknowledge the receipt of Foreign Office letter

No. F.11285/10648/10 of the 3rd of November, transmitting

for his concurrence a draft telegram for His Majesty's

Ambassador in China regarding the Canton-Kowloon

Railway, and in confirmation of the telephone message

from this Department, to inform you that he concurs

in the draft.

2. I am to request that the telegram may be

repeated to the Governor of Hong Kong.

3. A copy of this letter is being sent to the

Treasury.
